Rated-electronics: Apple's Ipad, to buy or not to buy? (Review)

In my first blog i will discuss the pros and cons of Apple's newest revolution which is the iPad.

Pros of the Apple iPad

1)The iPad does exactly what it said it would!
2) It is a revolutionary product and it looks good! Lightweight and fast, it lets users get online via the speedy web browser, were they can head straight to the Apple store and begin to download any of the 150,000 apps made for it.
3) Its' design offers a rich reading experience, allowing it to compete with some of the best e-readers around. This also makes it great for movies, photos and gaming –the large screen makes motion-sensor games really fun.
4) The touchscreen is very responsive, so typing on the in-built keyboard is pretty easy.
Plus, it has an amazing 10 hours of battery life; way more than the average laptop

Cons of Apples iPad...

1) Sounds great but the cons scream off the perfectly formed screen too.
2) The iPad has not been designed to replace the desktop or laptop mainly because of the lack of multi-tasking abilities but also because the virtual keyboard is not comfortable for long periods. Of course, you could always buy a stand and a Bluetooth Keyboard; if you have the money to spend on the iPad why not fully kit it out with extras?
3) The iPad does not contain a camera however the iPad2 which is about to be released contains one.

4) The iPad is also a fingerprint magnet – not very practical if you take your device into the sunlight; where it will be hard to see the screen for all the blurs your greasy fingers leave behind.
5) With no external media slot users will also have to upload their files and images either through Bluetooth or through a completely different device using their email account as a hard drive.

Both the pros and the cons make for some interesting reading and i believe this is a great new product to enter the market even if one of the arguments against Apple's iPad is the belief that there is no place in the market for it. My main argument would say, and it is a vague but realistic argument, that most products if not all products that have an i in front of them will sell by the bucket load that is just the era we live in.

This will be the first of many blogs i post and in the next blogs i will focus on some of apples biggest competitors to the iPad. I hope i have given consumers so valuable information regarding the pros and cons of the Apple iPad and others my consensus on the marketability  of Apples newest piece of technology. I haven't forgotten the fact that Apple's iPad2 has recently come to the market in some countries and i will be  providing information on that soon.

I rate the iPad 8.5/ 10

The best place to buy Apple's iPad is the apple store... apple.com
